Romans 6:23 says, “The gift of God is eternal life.” And, like any gift, it is not earned or deserved. What a relief! Christianity alone proclaims that God’s favor and entrance into heaven are absolutely free to us because of Jesus’ sacrifice. So your thumb represents GRACE.
