We Cannot Know the Hour nor the Day of Christ’s return … What About the Month and Year?

Welcome to Prophecy Q & A with Jimmy DeYoung!

Matthew 24 and 26 says that no man knows the day or the hour of Christ’s Second Coming. The word “day” could talk about a 24-hour day, but it also could be used as a period of time, such as “We live in the day of computers.” It doesn’t mean that computers will only be around 24 hours, but that we live in a day of high technology.

We have to be careful when we say that we can’t predict the “day” because I believe that Jesus Christ fulfilled those first four spring feasts.  There are seven feasts that God told the Jewish people to observe on a yearly basis. Jesus Christ was crucified on Passover, buried on Unleavened Bread, Resurrected on First Fruits, and the Holy Spirit came as Jesus said He would on the Day of Pentecost. These prophecies were fulfilled by Jesus Christ in the proper day sequences. To be consistent, I believe that the last three feasts, Rosh Hashanah (Feast of Trumpets), Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement), and Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) will be fulfilled as well.

Jimmy DeYoung was a prophecy teacher and journalist who travelled the country and the world educating the Body of Christ of the future events foretold in God’s prophetic Word. His goal was to equip Christians with the knowledge and understanding of what God’s Word says will happen someday soon, so that they can make better decisions today. Dr. DeYoung went home to be with his Savior on August 15, 2021.
