Apologetics for Parents (Part 1)

Welcome to Apologetics with Carl Kerby!

Our children are exposed to crazy amounts of information everyday where nearly every worldview on earth has a direct impact on their lives.  While not all of this information is entirely bad, most of our children are not prepared to evaluate the truthfulness of the ideas that confront them.

Sometimes kids don’t feel comfortable expressing their concerns and doubts because they may fear disappointing you if they showed uncertainty in their faith.  The first thing we must do as parents is create an environment that welcomes questions.

You can do this by being the one to start asking them some questions first.  Once you start asking them questions, they will naturally respond in the same way which will lead to great conversations.  And no, you don’t have to have all the answers up front, but we’ll talk about that later.

Let’s keep this conversation going next time as we talk about keeping our kids protected in the faith.
