WORLDVIEW: The Shroud of Turin (Part 1)

Welcome to Apologetics with Carl Kerby!

The Shroud of Turin is the proposed burial cloth of Jesus Christ.  Over the next few days, we are going to take a look at some scientific anomalies concerning the Shroud.  Let’s start with just one today.

Have you ever tried to thread a needle and not all of the thread comes through the eye?  That’s because a single thread is composed of 70 to 120 microfibers.

There’s an image of a man on the Shroud of Turin that affects ONLY TWO microfibers of ONE single thread.  That is physically impossible if the image were created using paints, pigments, powders, or any other artistic medium because they would have penetrated through the entire cloth, not just two microfibers!

After thousands of hours of study, there are no known methods to explain the formation of the image of the man on the Shroud.

And that’s just a start!  Tune in next time for more scientific anomalies on the Shroud of Turin.
