WORLDVIEW: New Age Movement (Part 3)

Today, we’re talking about worldviews. The New Age Movement is full of error – from its promotion of reincarnation to its idea that man can become a god. What does the New Age Movement say about Jesus Christ?

Well, it’s … pretty weird!

First, it teaches that Jesus and Christ are different. Jesus was an “Ascended Master,” just one great teacher among many. The “Cosmic Christ” – a universal presence that can lead one to a higher state of consciousness – came on Jesus, taking Him to a higher spiritual level. Supposedly, this spiritual Jesus continues to give special instruction to New Agers through “channelers.”

But the Bible says that Jesus is the Christ, the eternal Son of God Who came to earth, lived a sinless life, and died as a sacrifice for our sins before rising again from the dead and ascending to Heaven.

WHAT A CONTRAST!

A related worldview is deconstruction, but we’ll need to discuss that worldview at another time. Until then, for more information, go to www.hopetools.net.  Stay bold!
