Have you ever wondered why God would ask someone a question? There is nothing God does not know. Yet we read of several times in the Bible where He asks questions. So why would He seek information from people?
The answer is that when God asks a question He is not asking it to gather information. Rather, He asks it for the sake of the one being questioned. For example, when Adam was hiding in the garden after he sinned, God asked him where he was. Certainly God already knew where he was. But, God was using the question to point out Adam’s foolish behavior.
That’s what questions often do. They make us think and they highlight for us, areas of life where our use of time is not consistent with our stated values. We’ve compiled a list of 101 of these questions on our website at LifeChangingSeminars.com. Take a moment to print a few copies of that list for yourself and others who want to redeem the time.
