Where Does the Ten-Stringed Harp of David Line Up with Biblical Prophecy?

Welcome to Prophecy Q & A with Jimmy DeYoung!

The ten-stringed harp has to be available for the Temple when it is standing in the city of Jerusalem at the time of the Tribulation. It also will be available for the Temple that Jesus builds in the Millennial Kingdom.

There are two Temples in the future. The Tribulation Temple will be desecrated by the Antichrist, but they must do everything as if it will be the Ezekiel 40-46 Temple that Messiah will build for the Millennial Kingdom.

The harps have to be played because King David sent out the requirements. In 1 Chronicles 23:5 it states, “Moreover four thousand were porters; and four thousand praised the Lord with the instruments which I made, said David, to praise therewith.” David made a ten-stringed harp, and that’s what will be played!

In 1 Chronicles 21-3, you will see all of the instructions given by David to King Solomon to build that Temple, but they are also applicable for the Tribulation Temple and Millennial Temple. King David will be resurrected and co-regent with Jesus Christ in the Temple in the Millennial Kingdom. They will have to have 4,000 Levites playing harps. Some will be ten-stringed harps and many will be 21-stringed harps. 21 is the number of letters in the Hebrew alphabet and the number of strings on that particular harp. There will be lyres, trumpets, and shofars.
