Global warming is a propaganda bubble that needs to be deflated. This doctrine has become a sort of religious principle for the environmentalist-left. Global warming has also become an inexhaustible source of disaster movies for Hollywood, and a handy excuse for governments to hold expensive conferences and increase regulation. Thanks to distinguished scientist S. Fred Singer, we now know that the global-warming alarm machine is mostly hot air. The science of climate change is far more complex than the notion that more carbon dioxide in the air causes rising temperatures that lead to disaster.
Yes, the Earth is warming, but this warming is very probably part of a normal 1,500-year cycle, which mainly originates from the sun. Dr. Singer documents this with data from historical accounts covering the warming period of the Roman Empire, the cold Dark Ages, the “little ice age” that drove the Vikings out of previously temperate Greenland, the cooling from 1940 to 1975, and our current warming. Dr. Singer cites scientific breakthroughs to show that in past periods the carbon dioxide content in the atmosphere was actually higher than it is now – and temperatures were lower! It simply is not true that carbon dioxide levels are the primary reason for change in the Earth’s atmosphere.
Dr. Singer says there are many reasons why global warming is a good thing: cold areas become habitable and farmable, and fewer people die in hot weather than in cold weather. Men and animals can adapt. Much that we are told about global warming is bad science – like the famous “hockey stick” graph that supposedly shows global warming exploding upward in the near future. After this was analyzed by impartial statisticians, it was found to be riddled with-errors.
Don’t believe the hype. Get the facts, read Dr. Fred Singer’s book called Global Warming– Every 1,500 Years, and stay cool.
