Jim led off with information from Israel National News that today, rockets continue to be launched from Gaza and Lebanon against Israel.  Also, earlier today Israeli volunteers, while searching a burned-out house, found a woman and a child who’d been murdered and burned by Hamas terrorists.

President Biden was in Israel promising support from the U.S., while on our home-front, more and more U.S. media sources are touting terrorist talking points.

To make sense of all this from a Bible prophecy standpoint, Crosstalk welcomed back Dr. Richard Schmidt.  Dr.  Schmidt is the pastor of Union Grove Baptist Church and founder of Prophecy Focus Ministries.  He’s the speaker on the weekly TV program, Prophecy Focus and the radio broadcast, Prophecy Unfolding.  He spent 32 years in law enforcement, including that of acting sheriff of Milwaukee County until his retirement.  He’s authored several books including: Are You Going to a Better Place?, Daniel’s Gap Paul’s Mystery, Tribulation to Triumph: The Olivet Discourse, Globalism: The Great World Consumption and Artificial Intelligence: Transhumanism & the De-evolution of Democracy.

One of the highlights of this broadcast is audio from President Isaac Herzog of Israel where he called this war a battle between civilization and barbarity.  Dr. Schmidt responded by noting that while we need to be kind, we also need to be truthful.  When you look at the Islamic jihadist movement, it’s barbaric.  The next point he noted is crucial and gets covered up by secular media.  It’s the fact that this isn’t about property, it’s about a religious war.  It involves Islamic jihadists who have an extremist view with death being part of that program.

Dr. Schmidt gives President Biden the benefit of the doubt.  At the same time, why did the president go into Israel and what was his purpose?  What shocked Dr. Schmidt about Biden’s speech was the one hundred million dollars that he decided to give to Gaza residents.  Dr. Schmidt admitted that from a humanitarian standpoint, he doesn’t want to see innocent people perish or go through horrible times.  On the other hand, you still have the fact that U.S. taxpayer money just went to a section of the world that massacred 1,300 Jewish people plus some U.S. citizens as well.  He finds that a bit suspect.  He admitted that he didn’t hear what the package includes to support Israel.

This war has numerous angles that were examined.  This includes a hospital bombing, a man of peace, the U.S. in Bible prophecy, Iran and more.  Hear how the discussion unfolded when you review this edition of Crosstalk.
