Jim began this edition of Crosstalk with news regarding Youcef Nadarkhani, the Iranian pastor accused of leaving Islam and becoming a Christian. His son has received a birthday president in the form of being able to visit his father in an Iranian jail.
Jim also included audio from a video address that President Obama made just days ago where he assured listeners that Planned Parenthood will have his continued support. The president noted his efforts to halt those who would attempt to defund this organization, an organization that he praised for their efforts at supporting women’s health.
With Mexican and Canadian leaders joining him at a recent Rose Garden press conference, President Obama warned the Supreme Court that if they find Obamacare unconstitutional, this would amount to an unprecedented act of judicial activism.
