Today, we’re talking about Heaven.
Even though believers know INTELLECTUALLY that Heaven awaits them after this life, by the way they live PRACTICALLY, many seem to live as if this life is all there is.
But Scripture tells us that our TRUE HOME – even during this time on earth – is in HEAVEN.
As Billy Graham said, “The Bible says that as long as we are here on earth, we are strangers in a foreign land. There are enemies to be conquered before we return home. This world is not our home; our citizenship is in heaven.”
You see, our time on this earth is only temporary – 60 years, 70 years … maybe not even TOMORROW. And as long as we’re on this earth, we’re here to work for the Lord. After that, we get to go HOME and enjoy the fruit of our labors!
