God and the Big Bang?

When it comes to what you believe about the past, you have two primary options—the eternal God who created all things, or eternal matter. Now some Christians say you can blend the two by saying God used the big bang to create. But can you blend God and the big bang?

No! First the order of events is wrong. The big bang says the sun and stars came first; the Bible says the earth came first. The big bang says earth was a hot molten blob at first; the Bible says earth was created covered in water. And secondly the Bible says God created in six days, not millions of years.

You can’t mix the eternal God with eternal matter!
