The NAIA Banned Males From Female Sports

Last week, The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics or the NAIA became the first national collegiate athletic governing body to ban biological males from competing in women’s sports. The NAIA is a collegiate sports organization outside of the NCAA. Eighty percent of the members are private schools including many Christian colleges across America. The NAIA Council of Presidents unanimously approved this landmark decision.

Finally, a collegiate athletic governing body standing up to save women’s sports. Meanwhile, the NCAA may be forced to this decision since a lawsuit has been filed against the NCAA for allowing male swimmer Lia Thomas to participate in women’s events. Here our state, Governor Evers has vetoed a bill banning males from participating in girls’ sports in our K-12 schools.
