Wouldn’t a Pre-Tribulation Rapture Be so Obvious that Those Who Are Left Behind Would All Repent?

Welcome to Prophecy Q & A with Jimmy DeYoung!

Just because a person has heard about the Pre-Tribulation Rapture does not mean that they will necessarily accept it right away. They will reject it just like they rejected the Gospel. Getting saved is not by sight but by faith.  Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Hebrews 11:1, says that faith is the things hoped for, not seen. We don’t get saved by seeing a miracle.  Ephesians 2:8,9 say, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Most who are left at the Rapture will have never even read the Word of God and may not even have any idea what the Rapture is all about. The devil will come along and blind them.  Those who have rejected the love of the truth might be saved (2 Thessalonians 2:8-12) and will believe the lie of the Antichrist.

I do not believe that just because the rapture takes place that people will turn to Jesus Christ.

Jimmy DeYoung was a prophecy teacher and journalist who travelled the country and the world educating the Body of Christ of the future events foretold in God’s prophetic Word. His goal was to equip Christians with the knowledge and understanding of what God’s Word says will happen someday soon, so that they can make better decisions today. Dr. DeYoung went home to be with his Savior on August 15, 2021.
