A notorious late-term abortionist retired from his deadly and inhumane practice. Warren Hern, nearing his nineties, was the abortionist of a Boulder, Colorado mill. Hern killed unborn babies up to birth. A few decades ago, he published a book that was considered the go-to manual for grisly late-term abortions. He chose the anniversary of Roe v Wade, January twenty-second to announce his retirement. With the announcement came his false claim that he provided the “safest, highest quality abortion services anywhere.” Take for example a woman who experienced a late-term abortion in twenty fourteen required a hysterectomy to remove a scull fragment of her aborted baby. With it she lost her fertility. I pray this retirement allows Hern to reflect on his deadly legacy and repent.
