Dr. Richard Schmidt is pastor of Union Grove Baptist Church and founder of Prophecy Focus Ministries. He is the speaker on the weekly TV program, Prophecy Focus and the radio broadcast, Prophecy Unfolding. He spent 32 years in law enforcement including that of acting sheriff of Milwaukee County until his retirement. He has authored several books including: Are You Going to a Better Place?, Daniel’s Gap Paul’s Mystery, Tribulation to Triumph: The Olivet Discourse, Globalism: The Great World Consumption and the recently released: Artificial Intelligence: Transhumanism & the De-Evolution of Democracy.
Dr. Schmidt began by noting how totally dependent we are today on technology where basically everything has a technology nexus and the explosion we’re seeing during this information age of technology.
He pointed to the ultra-rich who are driving the AI agenda with their end-goal to become gods. It sounds ridiculous until you realize these individuals don’t believe in a biblical worldview, therefore they want to find immortality, omniscience and omnipotence through technology. At the same time they seek to de-throne the one true God of the Bible as Satan sought to do.
So what is artificial intelligence? ChatBox, which many people use, is one example. When people use this to buy a particular product, in the corner of the screen, a little box might pop up trying to engage you in conversation. That’s not a human being, that’s artificial intelligence at work.
The ten levels of artificial intelligence include:
- One rule or knowledge-based systems.
- Context-based artificial intelligence
- Narrow domain or expert artificial intelligence
- Rational artificial intelligence-Development of extremely complicated systems
- Self aware artificial intelligence
- Artificial general intelligence
- Artificial super intelligence
- Transcendence AI
- Cosmic AI
- God-like AI
Dr. Schmidt briefly described all of these and from there the conversation moved to the AI “Jesus,” lethal, self-directed or autonomous weapons, along with transhumanism. Transhumanism involves developing bionic/artificial parts to enhance the ability of the body. The goal is to make the body superhuman and combined with AI, the results are amazing.
