Vic began this edition of Crosstalk by mentioning how the Virginia Attorney General is expressing concern over a new law (The Wildlife Protection Act of 2010) that requires the city to relocate rats and entire rat families.

This is an example of how some people seem to be more concerned with rats and rat families than they are with unborn children. Human life, however, is sacred and that’s why this coming Sunday, January 22, many churches will be observing Sanctity of Human Life Sunday to mark the infamous Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court Decision which has resulted in the killing of over 53 million babies.

In the last year we have witnessed multiple states cut back on the funding of Planned Parenthood. Yet, another State –the state of Ohio—has taken this to a whole new level in a piece of legislation known as “The Heartbeat Bill” and to talk about this, Vic interviewed Pastor Andy Douglas, the Assistant Pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Findlay, Ohio. He is a pro-life Ohioan and a father who wants to see the end of abortion on demand.

The Heartbeat Bill (HB-125) has three steps. (1) It requires the abortionist to check to see if the unborn baby has a heartbeat. (2) If it has a heartbeat, the abortionist must let the woman know of this fact. (3) At that point, the child could not be killed by the process of elective abortion.

Join Vic as he has Andy explain the history behind this bill, why some pro-life groups are against it, its constitutionality and much more.
