Today, we’re talking about doing God’s will.
An Irish Proverb says, “You’ll never plough a field by turning it over in your mind.”
And you know, it’s easy for us as believers to talk about following God’s will for our lives but then neglect to do what we already know Scripture says. DOING God’s will — not just talking about it — is what really pleases God and what helps us grow spiritually.
After all, God’s way is always best, so it just makes sense that doing His will is the best course of action in life. But doing what we know God wants us to do today will also help us both know and follow His will for the days ahead.
As David Jeremiah said, “When you follow God’s will for your life, you can see how yesterday’s events prepared you for today’s challenges and tomorrow’s opportunities.”
