Today, we’re talking about God’s will.
John MacArthur’s Grace to You Broadcast recently posted a sermon series titled, “If God’s Will Is So Important, Why Can’t I Find It?” Actually, that’s how a lot of people feel about God’s will — they know God has one but aren’t sure how to discover it.
But God doesn’t purposely make finding His will hard. Instead, He often just reveals His plan one step at a time to us. When we take the one step that we know is His will — such as obeying Scripture — He often reveals the next step we’re to take in life. Through this, we learn to trust Him and become more dependent on Him.
As Charles Swindoll said, “The Lord never hides His will from us. In time, as you obey the call first to follow, your destiny will unfold before you.”
