Today, we’re talking about BLM.
Despite its positive-sounding name, the Black Lives Matter movement actively promotes Marxism, the overthrow of American government, and the biblical teaching on the family. So, why would believers — or any patriotic American — support BLM?
Well, it may come down to people just not knowing what the organization really stands for.
As investigative journalist James Simpson said, “The Black Lives Matter movement . . . casts itself as a spontaneous uprising born of inner-city frustration, but it is in fact the latest and most dangerous face of a web of well-funded socialist/communist organizations that have been agitating against America for decades.”
While believers should fully support racial equality, we must realize that BLM’s beliefs do not square with a Christian worldview. Believers would be wise to evaluate the beliefs of such an organization in the light of God’s Word.
