Today, we’re talking about racism.
Black nationalist Malcom X once claimed that “Christianity is the white man’s religion.”
But is that really true?
Well, according to statistical information from The World Christian Encyclopedia, only 33% of professed Christians live in North America or Europe. That means over 2/3 of the world’s Christians are NON-WHITE! All races are represented in God’s family.
And in Galatians 3:28, the apostle Paul made clear that Christians should view those of other races as equals, saying, “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (NIV).
Ultimately, Christians should view their brothers and sisters in Christ of different races as equals because GOD views us all as equals and of innate worth.
As Charles Spurgeon once said, “Be not proud of race, face, place, or grace.”
