I’m Bub Kuns, and today I’m talking about “cancel culture” one more time.
A recent example of “cancel culture” is when Amazon.com removed Ryan Anderson’s book, When Harry Became Sally, simply because it presents a biologically and scientifically sound perspective on transgenderism.
This sets a frightening precedent — anyone holding a viewpoint outside the secular mainstream, even if that viewpoint is true, could have their resources removed from certain platforms and could be intimidated into silence.
And as the culture grows increasingly hostile toward Christian beliefs, this type of scenario is likely to become common for Christians in media, education, and politics.
But God will always provide opportunities to share His Word. We just need to be faithful — leaving the results and consequences to Him.
Now, going along with “cancel culture,” what does it mean to be “woke?” We’ll discuss that another time.
