LIFE ISSUES: Abortion (Part 4)

Welcome to Apologetics with Carl Kerby!

Today, we’re talking about life issues, specifically abortion.

According to National Right to Life, 62 million abortions have occurred in America since the Roe vs. Wade decision in 1973. That’s nearly 20% of the current U.S. population and more than four times the population of New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago combined!

These 62 million lives represent the loss of future pastors, missionaries, doctors, inventors, and scientists. And abortion results not only in a loss of potential for our country, but also in a national loss of conscience as life devalued on one level means life devalued on every level as seen by increased homicides and suicides.

Psalm 139 tells of God’s plan for the unborn: “Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them” (ESV).

And what are other life issues? We’ll discuss them another time.
