Today, we’re talking about worldviews. The atheistic worldview completely denies God’s existence, claiming people can know for sure there ISN’T a God. And, scary to say, the number of people claiming “no religion” has grown exponentially in recent years.
But atheism makes no sense! Human observation and scientific laws clearly indicate an order to our universe that must be the product of intelligence, not random chance. In fact, the more scientists learn of the universe, the more they see evidence for design. And if there’s design, there must be a designer!
Former atheist Alister McGrath said:
Atheism, I began to realize, rested on a less-than-satisfactory evidential basis. The arguments that had once seemed bold, decisive, and conclusive increasingly turned out to be circular, tentative, and uncertain.
As Psalm 14: 1 reminds us, “The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God.’”
