In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus gives His disciples the very famous and important Great Commission. This commission extends to us even today: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” Christ’s call to action for us is not simply a command; it’s an invitation for all Christ-followers to grow in faith. Through walking in obedience to His last command, we accept the call and faithfully share with others and make disciples. And truly, our Savior deserves our utmost loyalty! Because of His great sacrifice on the cross and His resurrection from the dead, all who put their trust in Him receive the gift of eternal life. And that’s us!
