What Is the Interpretation of Isaiah 65:20b?

Welcome to Prophecy Q & A with Jimmy DeYoung!

“There shall be no more thence an infant of days, Nor an old man that hath not filled his days: For the child shall die an hundred years old; But the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.”

I believe that the verse is talking about during the Millennial Kingdom that there will be children born to those people who have physical bodies. These people that have the capability of producing children will have a child and the child will be a child until 100 years of age.

In the Millennial Kingdom, there will be a theocracy in place. Jesus Christ will rule from His throne in the city of Jerusalem from the Holy of Holies in the Temple. What Jesus says is an absolute. These young children born in the Millennium, growing up to be 100 years of age, will have the opportunity to either receive Jesus Christ or reject Him. 100 years of age will be the age of accountability in the Millennial Kingdom.  If they receive Christ, they continue on in the Millennial Kingdom; if they reject Him, they will be sent to Hades, that holding pen where all lost people go today, ultimately to stand before Jesus Christ at the Great White Throne Judgment (Revelation 20:11-15) to be sentenced not to decide whether saved or lost.   Each of us has a free will, even in the Millennial Kingdom. They will have 100 years to decide to accept Christ as Lord and Savior. The devil will be bound, and it will be a perfect atmosphere.

Jimmy DeYoung was a prophecy teacher and journalist who travelled the country and the world educating the Body of Christ of the future events foretold in God’s prophetic Word. His goal was to equip Christians with the knowledge and understanding of what God’s Word says will happen someday soon, so that they can make better decisions today. Dr. DeYoung went home to be with his Savior on August 15, 2021.
