If you’ve been following the news you’ve seen the riots, the vandalism and the overall, insurrection-type atmosphere that’s taken shape in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This is in response to Operation Metro Surge, where Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials have been focusing on the apprehension of those who’ve entered the U.S. illegally, while also committing further criminal acts.
The shooting of a protester this past weekend is under investigation. At the same time, the “temperature” of the situation might be changing for the better as President Trump indicated he had a very good call with Governor Walz; that the governor called him with a request to work together with respect to Minnesota.
However, let’s not forget what happened on Sunday, January 18th, when Cities Church in St. Paul had its worship service interrupted by protesters who brought the service to a halt. What ensued were shouts, screams and intimidation brought to the pastor, the congregation and the children.
Don’t miss this edition of Crosstalk as William walks listeners through history as he explains the individuals and philosophies that identify with this tactic of invading churches, and therefore where the incident in St. Paul may be taking us, and why.
