How can we help children learn to think biblically about the creation/evolution issue?
Well, we need to teach them that the evidence doesn’t speak for itself. It must be interpreted through a worldview. Whether you accept God’s or man’s word about the past depends on how you view the evidence.
You see, the creation/evolution debate isn’t a battle over the evidence—it’s a battle over two different interpretations of the same evidence. That’s because there are two different starting points: man’s word vs. God’s Word.
Let’s teach our kids how to properly interpret the world around us—starting with the Word of the one who knows everything!
