This week Wisconsin Family Council is hosting its LEAD Wisconsin teen worldview and leadership camp. One hundred twenty-seven teens are gleaning great truth from speakers such as Carl Kerby with Reasons for Hope and Charlie Kirk with Turning Point USA, role playing in a mock Wisconsin legislature complete with two trips to the capitol, enjoying both organized and free time games, and developing new friendships. Eighty new campers are in the Assembly track, with forty-seven alumni in either the senate or the media track.
This unique camp is about instilling a distinctively Christian worldview in the teen campers while also affording them opportunities to develop leadership skills, critical thinking, teamwork, and even public speaking, while also having great fun. The speakers challenge the teens to know truth and to be bold in standing up for and speaking out in defense of the truth.
