What Happens to the Bible During the Kingdom and Eternity Future?

Welcome to Prophecy Q & A with Jimmy DeYoung!

The kingdom begins when Jesus Christ comes back.  We are not now in the kingdom period.  Jesus Christ is not on His throne. God the Father is on the throne (Revelation 4,5). Jesus Christ is at His right hand (Hebrews 1, 8, 10, 12).  The kingdom is given to Jesus (Daniel 7:13-14) when the Ancient of Days – God the Father – gives to Him a dominion and a kingdom that will be forever. It happens when Jesus comes back after the seven-year Tribulation period.

During that time, the Word of God is going to be the primary source for all of our teaching. Isaiah 2:3 or Micah 4:2 says that the Word of the Lord goes forth out of Jerusalem.  We gather in Jerusalem to hear Jesus teach His Word. The Word of God is going to be what we are studying almost on a daily basis. We are going to love the Word of God. Psalm 119:11 says, “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” Psalm 119:89 says that His Word is settled.  It is set or established forever in the heavens.  Matthew 24 talks about heaven and earth passing away, but my Word is forever. In 1 Peter 1:23 he says that the Word of God is going to abide forever. 1 Peter 1:25 says that the Word of God endures forever.

The Word of God is a forever book that we are going to study, love, and honor. Spend time understanding exactly what it says. When you study the Scriptures, they become a part of you (Colossians 3:16). We won’t have all of the answers until we are changed, when Jesus Christ calls us at the rapture of the church.

Jimmy DeYoung was a prophecy teacher and journalist who travelled the country and the world educating the Body of Christ of the future events foretold in God’s prophetic Word. His goal was to equip Christians with the knowledge and understanding of what God’s Word says will happen someday soon, so that they can make better decisions today. Dr. DeYoung went home to be with his Savior on August 15, 2021.
