Warnings continue in the news concerning the COVID Omicron variant. The solution from Dr. Fauci, the CDC, the FDA, and the Biden administration is to get vaccinated. Then after that, get the second one, then a booster, and they’ll determine down the road if another booster will be needed. Teenagers are being told to get the shot. Tests are underway to have the shot tested on those less than 5 years of age.
Also, health care workers who refuse the vaccine are being let go. So those who were once being hailed as heroes are now being condemned as zeroes. Also, some states have called up the National Guard to assist with the overflow of patients in hospitals.
Returning to present an update on these and other COVID-related issues, Crosstalk welcomed Twila Brase. Twila is the president and co-founder of Citizens’ Council for Health Freedom. She’s a registered nurse, a certified public health nurse, and author of Big Brother in the Exam Room: The Dangerous Truth About Electronic Health Records. She’s the speaker on the daily Health Freedom Minute heard on stations across the nation.
Discussion began by looking at the Immunization Infrastructure Modernization Act of 2021 (HR-550) which passed in the House. Twila described it as essentially 400 million dollars to be distributed among the states that are willing to help build a vaccination data network across the nation. Such data systems will have to conform to federal standards, they have to allow bi-directional reporting, and there has to be compliance with other language that was passed back in 2009 which requires any doctor or hospital to have an electronic health record or be penalized for every Medicare patient.
Twila views the vaccination registry in every state as the, “camel’s nose into the privacy tent.” This is how the government began building these computerized data systems that can have other kinds of data added to them besides vaccination information.
While it’s true that we already have The eHealth Exchange, not every doctor, hospital or health plan chooses to participate. Twila indicated this is where the government wants to take things but one where all the data is standardized where we have no consent or control over our data.
As the program progressed, Twila also commented on HIPAA, the Omicron variant, mass formation, Biden’s mandates, the vilification of the unvaccinated, people not being granted religious exemptions, caller input, and more.
