Today, we’re talking about those who have never heard about God … and Hell.
One of the skeptics’ biggest objections to Christianity is that those who have never heard about God are condemned to a fiery Hell. Such critics argue that eternal condemnation for innocent people would be unfair.
But Romans 5 teaches that NO ONE is truly innocent because all mankind is stained by sin. What’s more, Romans 1 teaches that NO ONE can deny knowing about God because His reality is evident in two places: CREATION and the human CONSCIENCE.
As authors Christopher W. Morgan and Robert A. Peterson say, “Scripture teaches that our condemnation is based on the fact that we are sinners … Furthermore, God’s wrath is revealed against everyone who suppresses his truth revealed through creation … Strictly speaking, the Bible denies that there are persons who have never heard of God.”
