VCY honors pastors who uphold the authority of the Scriptures and we’d like to invite pastors to our Annual Pastors Appreciation Luncheon, Thursday, October 29th. Doors open at 10:00am; we will begin at 10:30am.
Our featured speaker will be Michael Germi (pictured above). Michael is a former Muslim who was born in Iran into a Shia Muslim family. In this setting he learned to practice Islam praying 5 times a day toward Mecca. He fasted during Ramadan. He practiced self-mutilation for the cause of Allah. In 2009 he placed his trust in Jesus Christ. He later moved to the States where he is a missionary, and now proclaims the Gospel to Islamic nations by satellite and internet.
Michael will share his testimony, will share his burden on reaching Muslims and comes with a unique insider’s perspective on the war with Iran.
Michael has recently written Investigating Islam: Examining the Quran, Allah and the Claims of Jesus Christ. Each pastor in attendance will receive a complimentary copy along with other resources.
Following his session, we will serve a complimentary catered lunch after which you are free to be on your way.
While this event is complimentary, it is necessary for pastors to contact our offices to make your reservation. Please email: vcy@vcyamerica.org OR call (414) 935-3000 or 1-800-729-9829. In that we must present an accurate count to the caterers, the reservation deadline is Thursday, October 22nd.
