A Win For Life in Indiana

Mainstream media sometimes makes it seem as if life isn’t winning anywhere in America right now. But that’s just not true. On Monday, Indiana’s supreme court voted four to one to deny an appeal from Planned Parenthood and the ACLU to challenge a law that bans most abortions in the state.  While the law has some notable exceptions, it also prohibits Planned Parenthood and other abortion facilities that are not hospitals from committing abortions.

Here in Wisconsin we should rejoice every day that our pre-Roe abortion ban is in place because every day that’s the case, unborn babies are saved and women are spared the trauma of abortion. Eventually our law, which is currently being challenged, will, like Indiana’s, go to our state supreme court where the fate of countless unborn babies will hang in the balance.
