Many people believe that in order to make a lasting change, they must run for federal office or appeal to the president.
The truth is, we can have the biggest impact when we start small. Every one of us has a sphere of influence. We all have a role to play in guiding our neighborhoods and communities. While federal and state legislative efforts continue to push against abortion, local county officials are banning abortion.
Take for example Scurry County, Texas which just became the 24th county in America to ban abortion! The unanimous measure declared the county a sanctuary for the unborn and will be enforced by citizen lawsuits.
These local measures create an environment where Planned Parenthood and others are often unwilling, or unable, to do business.
