Sam Rohrer is President of the Pennsylvania Pastors Network. He served 9 terms in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. On finance & economic issues, he served 14-years as a member of the Appropriations Committee which he pursued an agenda of fiscal restraint. In 2009 he led an effort to invoke the 10th Amendment to challenge the federal government’s encroachment in the state on issues like health care and education. He’s been a home schooling father for over 20 years. In 2011 he served as the State Director for Americans for Prosperity, and today leads the Pennsylvania Pastors Network who takes seriously Christ’s command to be “salt and light” to the culture.

Sam believes that it is God who raises up and brings down leaders. In light of this, he encouraged listeners with the news that the result of yesterday’s election is no surprise to God. He also communicated that while America has a Christian heritage, by majority vote, our nation has placed its trust in men and not God. America is therefore no longer a Christian nation.

Sam also noted how God has shown great mercy toward America and has warned us via fires, floods and hurricanes. These things are to get our attention and drive us back to God. There has been no response in that direction. He emphasized that we must be willing to identify the sins that come under the rubric of “wicked ways” from 2 Chronicles 7:14 and turn from them.

Overall, his message to listeners was to be inspired, not in retreat.
