You see, every biblical doctrine of theology is ultimately grounded in the history in Genesis. How can we think biblically about marriage? We go to God’s design of one man and one woman for life—given in Genesis. Gender? God’s design for us as male and female—also given in Genesis.
The sanctity of life? God’s creation of us in his image given in Genesis. Racism? We’re all one race—as described in Genesis.
Genesis is foundational, and our children need to understand it. Our Christian thinking comes from the true history given by—God!
