Today, we’re talking about racism.
Evangelist Billy Graham once said, “Racism and injustice and violence sweep our world, bringing a tragic harvest of heartache and death.”
Racism really stems from people not recognizing that all human beings — regardless of race — have dignity and worth because they’re created uniquely — and specially — by the Lord. In fact, if you’ve ever wondered why the world’s people look so different it’s because we have a very creative God!
You see, Scripture teaches that God loved people of every race so much that He sent His Son to die for them to bring them salvation. And in Matthew 8:11, Jesus Himself tells us that Heaven will be filled with people of every ethnicity, saying that “many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.” (KJV) There will be no racism there!
But what about the BLM movement? We’ll discuss that another time.
